Henri Guissou

Henri Guissou (born November 17, 1910 in Koudougou , Upper Senegal and Niger , today Burkina Faso , † May 22, 1979 ibid) was a civil servant, diplomat and politician from Upper Volta , today's Burkina Faso.

From 1948 to 1959 Guissou was a member of the French National Assembly for the Colony of Upper Volta . He obtained his seat on the list of the Union pour la défense des intérêts de la Haute-Volta . Later Guissou was among other things ambassador for Obervoltas in France (1961–1964) and Germany (1964–1966).
