Henricus Petrus Augustinus Johannes "Henri" Smulders (born August 20, 1863 in 's-Hertogenbosch , † November 8, 1933 in Paris , France ) was a Dutch sailor .

Henri Smulders, who sailed for the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Zeil- en Roeivereeniging , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in three competitions. In the joint race, he failed to cross the finish line, while in the boat class 3 to 10 tons he twice achieved the top four. As the skipper of the Mascotte yacht , he finished second behind Henri Gilardoni with the Fémur in the first race, and fourth in the second. The crew included Chris Hooijkaas and Arie van der Velden .

Smulders was director of the AF Smulders shipyard and engineering works founded by his father . This was later renamed Werf Gusto . When he died at the age of 70, Smulders was still in senior positions with the company.
