Henri de Noussanne

Henri de Noussanne (* 1865 in Limoges , Haute-Vienne department , † around 1936 ) was a French journalist and writer.

Life

Noussanne came from a long-established Limousin family and completed his school days in Brive-la-Gaillarde ( Corrèze department ). He then began to write as a journalist for the Conciliateur in Brive-la-Gaillarde and the Corrèzien in Tulle .

He later went to Paris and got a job at the Hachette publishing house . There he soon became known as the editor of the memoirs of Colonel Charles-Émile Corbin . He also wrote for the journal L'Illustration between 1890 and 1910 .

With effect from November 17, 1909, Noussanne acted - together with Pierre de Maroussein - as the responsible editor of the magazine Gil Blas .
