Henriette Engelhardt-Wölfler

Henriette Engelhardt-Wölfler (* 1968 in Bruchsal ) is a German demographer .

Life

She studied sociology and statistics at the University of Mannheim (Diplom-Sociologist 1992) and at the University of Bern ( Dr. rer. Soc. 1998, Habilitation 2005). She was a scientist in Bern (Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences / Institute for Sociology, 1992–1998), at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development (1998–2000), at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (2000–2002) and at the Institute for Demography of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (2002–2006). Since 2006 she has been Professor of Demography in Bamberg . Since 2012 she has headed the State Institute for Family Research at the University of Bamberg .

Her research interests are social demography, family demography, social epidemiology, and causal analysis.
