Henry-Alex Rubin , also Henry Alex Rubin (* 1976 ) is an American film director and film producer .

Career

Henry Alex Rubin attended Phillips Academy and Columbia University . Rubin's career in the film business began in 1995 as a director on the documentary Who Is Henry Jaglom? He was the director of the second unit of the films Cop Land and Durchgeknallt . Rubin and Dana Adam Shapiro received a nomination in the category “ Best Documentary ” at the 2006 Academy Awards for his documentary Murderball . The award went to Luc Jacquet for his contribution The Journey of the Penguins . In 2011, the film drama Disconnect with Jason Bateman was released , with Rubin as the director. In 2017 he worked in the same activity on the television series 24: Legacy and the short film The Neighbors .

In addition to film productions, Rubin was also responsible for commercials such as Volvo , adidas and Samsung .
