Henry Charles "Hank" Kashiwa (born May 26, 1949 in Old Forge , New York ) is a retired American ski racer .

Early in his career, Kashiwa joined the University of Colorado ski team . He later joined the army team for two years. Between 1967 and 1972 he competed for the US national team and took part in the Alpine Ski World Cup from 1968 to 1971 . During this time, Kashiwa reached six times the Top 10 and entered 1972 in Sapporo at the Winter Olympics on. He then switched to the US Pro-Ski Tour .

After retiring from his active career, Kashiwa became a televised ski commentator. He later became president of Volant , a ski manufacturer from Colorado . He gave up this position to become vice president of Yellowstone Club s, a private ski resort and golf club near Big Sky , Montana .
