Henry Granger Piffard (born September 10, 1842 in Piffard , New York , † 1910 ) was an American dermatologist.

Live and act

After his graduation as Dr. med. at New York University he worked from 1864 to 1865 as an internist at the Charity Hospital and the Bellevue Hospital in New York. He specialized in the field of dermatology. For some time he went to Europe for further training: to Paris, Vienna and especially London to the University College Hospital with William Tilbury Fox (1836–1879). Here he also met his compatriot from New York, the dermatologist George Henry Fox , with whom he worked closely from then on.
