Bousov (German Bausow ) is a municipality in Okres Chrudim in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers east of Čáslav .

geography

Bousov is located at the western foot of the Iron Mountains ( Železné hory ) in the Čáslavská kotlina ( Czaslauer Basin ). The village lies on the edge of the protected landscape area CHKO Železné hory and is traversed by the Kurvice brook. The Čáslav – Třemošnice railway line runs south of Bousov . To the east rise the Honzíkův vrch (508 m nm) and the Krkanka (567 m nm), in the northeast the Skála (490 m nm).

Neighboring towns are Podhořany u Ronova in the north, Tuchov, Licoměřice and Jetonice in the Northeast, Zbyslavec and Žlebská Lhotka in the east, Žlebské Chvalovice , Lhůty, Samota and Závratec the southeast, Ronov nad Doubravou in the south, Žleby in the southwest, Šmolcov and Vinaře the west and Vinice and Lovčice in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of Bousovna came in 1359 when Jan the Elder . Ä. Trčka from Lípa bought the village. In 1543 Kuneš Bohdanecký von Hodkov became the owner of Bousov. From 1787 Bousov belonged to the Ronow rule , later the village became subject to the allodial rule of Žleb .

In 1840 the rustic village of Bausow consisted of 41 houses in which 261 people lived. In the place there was a private school under the patronage of the community and a Dominikales inn. The parish was Ronow.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bousov formed a municipality in the judicial district of Časlau with the district of Tuchov . From 1868 the place belonged to the Časlau district .

In the course of the territorial reform of 1960, the Okres Čáslav was abolished, Bousov was assigned to the Okres Chrudim. Between 1985 and 1990 Bousov was incorporated into Ronov nad Doubravou . Out of 213 inhabitants of the village, 181 live in Bousov and 32 in Tuchov.

The municipality of Bousov consists of the districts Bousov ( Bausow ) and Tuchov ( Tuchow ).

The municipality forms the cadastral district of Bousov.
