The Lichnice Castle and the Lovětínský rybník pond are located near Rudov.

history

The oldest written mention in the municipality comes from 1202 and concerns Sušice; the place had been laid out on a trade route leading over the Eisengebirge, which connected the Libitzer and Strenitzer Landessteige. Zbyslavec has been documented since 1316. Míčov was first mentioned in 1349 as a parish village. In the 15th century, all five villages belonged to the estates of the Lichtenburg .

For centuries, a historical district boundary cut the area; Sušice was in the Chrudim district , the other villages in the Caslav district . In the second half of the 16th century, the Lichtenburg estates were also divided along the district border. Sušice was assigned to the Stolany Manor in 1577 and in 1608 became subject to the Heřmanmiestetz rule. Jetonice, Míčov, Rudov and Zbyslavec were assigned to the Ronow estate . Míčov was the parish for Jetonice, Rudov, Podhradí ( Podhrad ), Skoranov ( Skoranow ), Starý Dvůr ( Althof ), Sušice and Zbyslavec.

After the abolition of patrimonial Míčov formed from 1849 with the districts Jetonice, Rudov and Zbyslavec a municipality in the judicial district of Časlau ; from 1868 it belonged to the Časlau district . Sušice, on the other hand, was initially a district of the municipality Vyžice in the judicial district Chrudim or district Chrudim . In 1908 the municipality of Sušice was established with the district Slavkovice .

In the course of the municipal reform of 1960, in which the Okres Čáslav was also repealed, the new municipality Míčov-Sušice, assigned to the Okres Chrudim , emerged from both municipalities , with Slavkovice being spun off to the municipality Vyžice.

The municipality Míčov-Sušice consists of the districts Jetonice ( Jetonitz ), Míčov ( Mitschow ), Rudov ( Rudow ), Sušice ( Suschitz ) and Zbyslavec ( Sbislawitz ), which also form cadastral districts. The Pazderna residential area also belongs to Míčov-Sušice.
