history

Bezdyecow was first mentioned in a document in 1318 in the Libri citationum ( cargo books / knihy půhonné ). Various Vladiken families took turns as owners of the estate ; in the 15th century these were those of Bezděkov, Nischburg and Rejhrad, in the 16th century the Malovec of Chýnov followed. In 1543 the Slepotický von Sulice bought the estate. In 1548, Markvart Slepotický von Sulice received the goods Vejvanovice, Časy , Dvakačovice, Choteč and Třtí in addition to Bezděkov when his father's inheritance was divided . He had a fortress built in Bezděkov . His with Dietrich d. J. Lukavecký of Lukavec married daughter Katharina gave up the Bezděkov estate in 1570 and left it to her brother-in-law Johann the Elder. Ä. Lukavecký from Lukavec. He sold the Bezděkov fortress with the village of the same name and all accessories in 1584 to Nikolaus Popel von Lobkowitz on Nový hrad near Boží Dům , who united Bezděkov with his recently acquired Hrochow-Teinitz estate.

When the estate was divided between his sons Nikolaus and Johann Viktorin von Lobkowitz, Bezděkov was again separated from the Nový hrad rule in 1594 and part of the Hrochow-Teinitz rule that had fallen to Johann Viktorin. Johann Viktorin von Lobkowitz died in 1595 at a young age, his over-indebted rule was taken over by the creditor Johann Kolowrat -Bezdružický. After the battle of the White Mountain , the estate belonging to his son Ludwig Kolowrat-Bezdružický was confiscated. Bezděkov Fortress was last mentioned in 1623 and probably went out during the Thirty Years War. The following owners were Barons Zeller von Rosenthal from 1622 to 1706. Johann Wenzel Zeller von Rosenthal bequeathed the rule to the Premonstratensian monastery of Hradisko in 1706 . After the abolition of the monastery, the rule fell to the Moravian Religious Fund in 1786 and was subject to the Imperial and Royal Bohemian State Property Administration. The Meierhof was emphyteutized in 1786. In 1789 the village consisted of 32 houses. In 1824 it was sold to Georg Prokop von Lilienwald.

In 1835 the village of Bezdiekau or Bezděkow , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 43 houses in which 230 people lived. The Turin tavern and a forge were located on Chrudimer Chaussee. Parish was Weywanowitz. In 1844 the Lilienwald heirs sold the estate to the textile manufacturer Peter Josef Schlechta . Until the middle of the 19th century, Bezdiekau always remained subject to the allodial rule of Hrochow-Teinitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bezděkov formed a district of the market town of Hrochův Týnec in the judicial district of Chrudim . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district of Chrudim . In the 1870s, Bezděkov broke away from Hrochův Týnec and formed its own municipality. In 1949 Bezděkov was renamed Dolní Bezděkov to better distinguish the two communities of the same name in Okres Chrudim ; the other village near Bojanov in the Iron Mountains was named Horní Bezděkov because of its higher elevation . On July 1, 1974 Dolní Bezděkov was incorporated into Hrochův Týnec. The parish has existed again since March 1, 1990.
