history
Dědová was first mentioned in a document in 1392 when Smil Flaška von Pardubitz sold the Richenburg estate to Otto von Bergow . The village of Rychta in Kladno has been under the control of the Rychta since the 15th century . The focus of agriculture was on pasture farming, because of the altitude, grain cultivation was only possible in the lower corridors. There was also the processing of flax, home weaving and woodwork. In the second half of the 18th century, iron ore mining was carried out. From 1799 school classes were held in Dědová.
In 1835 the rustic village of Diedowa , located in the south of the Chrudim district , consisted of 83 houses in which 470 people lived. The main sources of income were spinning and weaving, as well as small-scale farming. There was a school in the village. The Catholic parish was Kamenitschek , the Protestants were parish in Swratauch . Until the middle of the 19th century, Diedowa always remained subject to the allodial rule of Richenburg.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Dědová / Diedowa with the district Humperky / Humbarg a municipality in the judicial district Hlinsko . From 1868 the municipality belonged to the political district of Chrudim . During this time the production of wooden toys began, which was also exported.
At the end of the 19th century, over 500 people lived in the 90 houses in Dědová. During the 20th century, the population began to migrate to the industrial areas and, after the Second World War, to the border areas . In 1949 the community was assigned to the newly created Okres Hlinsko; in the course of the municipal reform of 1960 Dědová came back to Okres Chrudim .
