Pláňavy (German Planiow , also Planiau ) is a district of the municipality Vojtěchov in the Czech Republic . It is four kilometers east of Hlinsko and belongs to the Okres Chrudim .

geography

Surrounded by forests scattered settlement Pláňavy is located in the north of Žďár mountains on the ridge Horky ( Horka ). Pláňavy is located in the headwaters of a small tributary from Blatenský potok in the protected landscape area CHKO Žďárské vrchy . To the north rises the Čertovina (652 m nm), in the east the Dědovský kopec (676 m nm) and south the Pešava (697 m nm) and the Hrobka (688 m nm).

Neighboring towns are Raná in the north, Vojtěchov in the northeast, Kladno and Dědová in the east, Ovčín and Filipov in the southeast, Kameničky and Jeníkov in the south, Hamry , Hamřík and Blatno in the southwest, Rataje in the west and Srní, Horní Babákov, Čertovina and Medkovy Kopce in the Northwest.

history

The first written mention of Pláňavy took place in 1706. The place emerged as a lumberjack and charcoal burner settlement after new iron ore deposits were discovered in the area and the Richenburg lordship founded a new ironworks.

In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim district located Dominikaldörfchen Planiau of 6 houses where 19 people lived. The stately forester's lodge Planiau was in the forest. The village was under the court in Woytiechow . The Catholic parish was Hlinsko, the Protestants were assigned to the pastorate Krauna . Until the middle of the 19th century, Planiau remained subject to Richenburg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Plaňany formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Vojtěchov in the judicial district of Hlinsko . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district of Chrudim . In 1869 Plaňany had 37 inhabitants. In 1900 there were 38 people living in Plaňavy , in 1910 there were 50. Since 1924 the place has been officially called Pláňavy . In 1930 Pláňavy had 32 inhabitants. In 1949 the village was assigned to the newly formed Okres Hlinsko, and since 1961 it has belonged again to the Okres Chrudim. In the 2001 census, there were 26 people in the 8 houses in Pláňavy.
