history

Vyžice was created in a wooded area as a Rundangerdorf . The first documentary mention of Vyžice and Slavkovice took place in 1229 in a certificate of ownership of King Wenceslas I for the Opatowitz monastery . From 1382 both villages belonged to the possessions of the Knights of Mrdice. At that time the place name Vydžice or Vidlice was used. In the 15th century Vyžice belonged to the Lichtenburg estate . A purchase book from 1448 shows that Vydžice was under the judge in Heřmanův Městec at that time . In the 16th century the Trčka von Lípa lords were the landlords of Vyžice. In 1577 Vyžice was assigned to the Stolany Manor . The village of Hody, located in the forest between Vyžice, Slavkovice and Sušice, still belonged to Vyžice at that time.

In 1608 Emperor Rudolf II sold the Stolany manor to Ladislaus Berka von Dubá , who combined it with the Heřmanùv Městec manor. At the beginning of the 17th century, Vyžice consisted of nine farms. During the Thirty Years War Vyžice experienced a decline; the villages of Hody and Slavkovice were completely depopulated. After the death of the childless Johann Dietrich Berka von Dubá, the rule of Heřmanùv Městec with the Stolany estate fell to his sister Anna Maria Josephine von Khysl in 1636 . With a hard hand she pushed through the re-Catholicization of the rule , the village of Hody became extinct. In 1661 she sold the rule to Johann von Sporck . In 1789 there were 18 houses in Vyžice. After the death of Johann Wenzel von Sporck , the rule was sold to Philipp Anton von Greiffenclau in 1798 , and from 1828 it belonged to Prince Kinsky .

In 1835 the village of Wischitz , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 23 houses in which 161 people lived. The parish was Heřmanmiestetz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Wischitz remained subject to the allodial rule of Heřmanmiestetz.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Vyžice / Wischitz 1849 with the districts and Slavkovice Sušice a municipality in the judicial district Chrudim . From 1868 the municipality belonged to the political district of Chrudim . The Na Obíckách settlement was established south of Výžice during this period. In 1890 the village of Výžice had 240 inhabitants and consisted of 37 houses; in 1910, 295 people lived in the 48 houses. Slavkovice and Sušice broke up in 1908 and formed the new municipality of Sušice. The official name of the municipality has been Vyžice since 1924 .

An area near Vyžice was planned as the landing site for the Silver A parachute operation against the Nazi occupation, which began in December 1941 ; Due to inaccurate navigation, however, the parachutists landed 40 kilometers away at Senice .

Slavkovice was assigned to Vyžice again as a district in 1961 when the municipality of Sušice was abolished. At the beginning of 1976 Vyžice and Slavkovice were incorporated into Načešice . The parish has existed again since August 31, 1990.
