Henry Oscar
Henry Oscar (* 14. July 1891 in London , England as Henry whales ; † 28. December 1969 ) was a British actor .
Life
Oscar began his acting career in 1911 and received a contract with BBC Radio in 1922 . During World War I he performed for the entertainment of British soldiers and during World War II he worked for the Entertainments National Service Association . Oscar made his feature film debut in 1932 in the crime film After Dark . He subsequently appeared in Michael Powell's drama Red Ensign , Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Zoltan Korda's Four Feathers . In the 1950s he starred alongside Elizabeth Taylor and Peter Ustinov in Beau Brummell and alongside Ava Gardner and David Niven in Die kleine Hütte . He had a minor supporting role in David Lean's seven Academy Award-winning drama Lawrence of Arabia . The German-speaking audience is most likely to like Oscar in his role as Lord Rudkin in the Miss Marple film adaptation Mörder ahoy! known.
