Henry Wolf

Henry Wolf (born May 23, 1925 in Vienna , † February 14, 2005 in New York City ) was an American photographer and graphic designer.

Henry Wolf worked as art director for Esquire , Harper's Bazaar and Show magazines . He influenced magazine design in the 1950s and 1960s through layout , typography and cover pictures . In 1971 he founded his own photo studio. In 1976 he was recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and in 1980 he was inducted into the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame .
