Herbert (comic artist)
Herbert Geldhof alias Herbert (born January 13, 1929 in Wasmes; † 2007 in Brussels ) was a Belgian comic artist .
Life
After studying in Tournai , Herbert spent several years as an industrial draftsman in Africa. Georges Troisfontaines' employment in Word's Press enabled him to publish in Spirou . He worked with Octave Joly , Jean-Michel Charlier and Charles Jadoul . Herbert later devoted himself to painting and sculpture.
