Herbert Dentler (born November 24, 1924 in Würzburg ; † June 10, 1991 ) was a German singer and composer .

Career

Herbert Dentler was a member of the vocal trio Die Penny-Pipers alongside Ulrich Rose and Paul Rumpen in the 1950s . In 1953 Paul Rumpen discovered Margret Fürer and persuaded her to participate, so that the trio became a quartet. In addition, Margret Fürer continued to perform alone and with other singing partners. With this increase in staff, the group also managed to gain a foothold on radio and television. They also acted as an accompanying choir for recordings by other artists, such as Angèle Durand , Bibi Johns , Eddie Constantine and Wolfgang Sauer . While they sang more cabaret songs at the beginning of their career, their repertoire changed over time more towards hits and mood songs.

In the 1960s Herbert Dentler founded the Dentler Trio , where Margret Fürer also sang in part. Herbert Dentler then started a solo career in the field of mood music, with which he was also successful in the carnival .
