Herbert Huebel
Herbert Hübel (born January 10, 1958 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian lawyer and sports official .
The doctor of law runs a law firm in Salzburg with his partners . His father, also a lawyer, worked as a football official.
Hübel has been volunteering for the Salzburg Football Association in various functions since 1984 . He became Vice President in 1999 and has been President since 2001. He has been a member of the federal board of the Austrian Football Association since 1993 , and when he was elected regional president he was promoted to the presidium . From autumn 2008 he was a member of the selection committee for the new ÖFB president. Hübel was a member of the board of directors of EURO 2008 SA for the European Football Championship 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. He is a member of the Austrian National Olympic Committee and here with the clarification of possible irregularities in connection with the application of Salzburg for the2014 Winter Olympics commissioned.
