Herbert Hochheim

Herbert Hochheim (born January 25, 1952 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Herbert Hochheim grew up in football at Hertha Zehlendorf , for whom he has played since 1961. There he succeeded in the A-youth with his teammates Norbert Stolzenburg , Peter Hanisch , Erwin Kunert, Ulrich Pfisterer , Bernd Hartfiel, Michael Rieger, Wolf-Dieter Ludwig, Bernhard Boehnke, "Pimpel" Winter, Harald Bertz, Gerd Biermann, Lutz Hammer and Rüdiger Kullack on July 12, 1970 in the final of the German A youth championship against the Palatinate representative TuS Altrip with Manfred Kaltz a 3-2 victory.

Hochheim moved up straight from his youth to the Zehlendorfer regional league team and played alongside players such as Helmut Faeder , Michael Krampitz and Hans-Günter Schimmöller from 1970 to 1972 . For Hertha Zehlendorf, he made four appearances in the 1970/71 season in what was then the second-rate Berlin Regionalliga . The Berliner SV 92 signed the talent from Zehlendorf for the round 1972/73. There the midfielder played in the Berlin Regionalliga until the BSV 92 was relegated in 1974. For the BSV 92 he scored 3 goals in 27 games in the Berlin Regionalliga. Even after that he played for the BSV until 1980, until relegation in 1979 in the amateur league. Herbert Hochheim had to end his career prematurely because of considerable knee damage.

In 1992 he took over the training of the D youth at SC Union Südost in 1924, which he trained until 1994. From 1994 to 1996 he trained the C-youth, from 1996 to 2000 the B-youth and from 2000 to 2004 the A-youth of the SC Union Südost. After working for SC Union Südost for twelve years, he took over the training of the A-youth of SF Neukölln Rudow, which he trained until 2006. Then he trained the 2nd team of SF Neukölln Rudow until 2008.

In 2008 he returned to SC Union Südost, where he was head coach until 2010. From 2011 to 2014, Hochheim coached the second men of BSC Eintracht Südring 1931, who played in the B district league. In the 2014/15 season, he coached BFC Germania 88 for half a year. From 2015 to 2016, he trained again SC Union Südost 1924 and has been coaching the second team of FC Al-Kauthar Berlin since 2017.
