Herbert Johnston ( Herbert Arthur "Bert" Johnston ; born April 16, 1902 in Dulwich, London Borough of Southwark , † April 5, 1967 in Harold Wood, London Borough of Havering ) was a British long-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was fourth in the team race over 3000 m and won silver with the British team. In 1928 he was eighth over 5000 m at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam .
