Herbert Radecke (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Player career

Radecke joined in 1929 by the Sports Club of Orange in 1901 to Berlin to Hertha BSC .

There he was used in the first game of the season against Halley-Concordia , but then had to wait until the second leg before he was used again. In total, he made five appearances in his debut season, in which he scored four goals. It was all the more astonishing that after the opening win against Beuthen 09 in the final round of the German championship he was able to push Hermann Schulz out of the starting line-up and until he won the title the remaining four games - SpVgg Sülz 07 (1: 1 a.s. and 8: 1), 1. FC Nürnberg (6: 3) and Holstein Kiel (5: 4) - were in the starting line-up and all played in full.

If he had now believed in the breakthrough, he had to put up with the fact that he only made five league appearances again and played no role at all in successfully defending his title . Then he left the old lady .
