The Oranienburger FC Eintracht 1901 is a German football club from Oranienburg in the Oberhavel district . The home of the 400-member club is the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn sports facilities .

Eintracht Oranienburg was founded on March 27, 1901 as the Oranienburg football club Oranien . As early as 1904, the DFB accepted the Brandenburgers. A year later it was renamed Sportclub Oranien 1901 . In 1933 the sports club merged with SC Eintracht in 1913 . The new club name was now Sportclub Oranien-Eintracht 1901 .
The team from Oranienburg could not show any notable sporting successes until 1945. After the end of the war, the club was renamed SG Eintracht Oranienburg . In 1951, Eintracht won the championship of the Berlin district class, and for the next forty years they played exclusively in the Potsdam and Berlin district leagues . In the period that followed, up to 1989, the Oranienburger, like many other GDR associations, was renamed several times, in 1959 as unity and from 1969 in steel . In 1983 and 1984, the Oranienburger took part in the promotion games to the GDR league . The leap into the second highest GDR league was missed against Motor Ludwigsfelde and Motor Süd Brandenburg .
In 1991, the club was now called Eintracht again , they were promoted to the Brandenburg Association , in which the Oranienburger played until 2002. In 2002 , Eintracht made the leap into the NOFV-Oberliga (North Season) . This division turned out to be a size too big. The result was the immediate relegation to the association league after rank 19. In the next season 2003/04 the Oranienburg withdrew after the first half series because of the initiated insolvency from the current game operation.
On December 9th, 2003, the soccer department broke away from SG Eintracht Oranienburg and founded today's Oranienburger FC Eintracht 1901 . The Brandenburg State League was the new division. 2012/13 one was in the Landesliga Nord champions and rose to the Brandenburg League .
