Eberhard Janotta (born December 14, 1961 in Leegebruch , Oranienburg district ) is a former German soccer player and today's soccer coach .

career

Janotta comes from a well-known "soccer family" of her time in the GDR . In his earliest youth he started playing football in his hometown at TSG Leegebruch and continued his career at BSG Stahl Hennigsdorf , where he moved up to the first team at the beginning of the 1979/80 league season. After a one-year stint at BSG Motor Babelsberg , which briefly played in the regional league , he returned to the Stahl-Elf in Hennigsdorf in the summer of 1981 to become a regular player there. During the 1983/84 season , the 1.76 meter tall midfielder moved from Hennigsdorf to BSG Chemie PCK Schwedt . In the summer of 1984 Janotta von Schwedt, who missed staying in the second highest division in the course of the reduction from five to two league seasons, was delegated to the league to the newly promoted BSG Stahl Brandenburg . For Brandenburg he scored a total of 44 goals in eight seasons and 177 league games - 146 games and 35 goals in the league. He played 31 games in 1991/92 in the 2nd Bundesliga , scoring nine times, making him the Havelstadt club's record goal scorer in this division. In the 1992/93 season Janotta scored 12 goals in 32 games for PFV Bergmann-Borsig Berlin in the third-class amateur league of the NOFV . He later played in the association league for SG Eintracht Oranienburg .

In the late 1990s he returned to his hometown club Blau-Weiß Leegebruch. Here he took over the coaching position. Here he acted as 2nd chairman, groundskeeper / expert and functionary in personal union. On the last day of the 2005/06 season, at the age of 45, he laced his football boots again himself. He promptly scored two goals in the 4-0 success in the national class point game at VfB Gramzow.

On November 5, 2013, he took over the coaching position at SC Oberhavel Velten at short notice , after which he had only started there in the summer as an assistant coach. He is currently working for the upper division club SG Blau-Weiß Leegebruch.

International

Janotta played a major role in the soaring of BSG Stahl Brandenburg in the 1980s. He made a decisive contribution to qualifying for the 1986 UEFA Cup . In the first European Cup in the club's history at Coleraine FC , it was reserved for him to score the historic premiere goal. Due to a serious injury, he could not participate in the two games of the 2nd round against the eventual title holder IFK Göteborg .

In addition, Janotta was the only player in the club who could play an A international match . On April 23, 1986 he ran for the GDR in a 2-0 draw against the ČSSR team . This game was followed by a few appointments in the Olympic selection , where he was not used.
