Herbert Rebscher

Herbert Rebscher (born June 4, 1954 in Bad König ) was chairman of the board of DAK-Gesundheit .

After graduating from high school in 1973, Herbert Rebscher was with the German Armed Forces for 12 years and started an officer career. He studied economics and organizational science at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . Since 1992 he has been the deputy managing director of the Association of Employee Health Insurance Funds (VdAK) , and since 1996 chairman of the board of the VdAK. He has been a member of the DAK board since 2003 and was chairman of the board of DAK-Gesundheit from 2005 to 2016, where he retired. He has been an honorary professor at the University of Bayreuth since 2005 . Since 2018 he has been chairman of the supervisory board of the Paracelsus clinics .

In 2018 he was a founding member of the citizens' movement Finanzwende .

Herbert Rebscher is married and has two children.
