Herbert Trebesch
Herbert Trebesch (born November 9, 1915 in Hamburg ; † July 6, 2007 in Bad Zwischenahn ) was a German vice admiral .
Career
After working in the consular service of the Federal Republic of Germany, he joined the German Navy in 1957 . From 1960 to 1963 he was German military attaché in Rome, from 1968 to 1971 military attaché in Washington. From 1975 he was German military representative in the military committee of NATO and from 1978 to 1984 executive deputy president of the German Society for Foreign Policy .
