The Herdecker Bach is a flowing water in Herdecke . It flows into the Ruhr on the right .

The stream rises northeast of the city on the Ahlenberg and then flows south parallel to Wittbräucker Straße. On the right side it takes on the Kirchender Bach and the Ender Mühlenbach. It flows into the Ruhr south of the old town of Herdecke.

In heavy rain , the amount of water in the stream increases considerably, for example on the night of August 17th, 2010
