Herdis Möllehave

Herdis Møllehave , née Herdis Poulsen (born August 26, 1936 in Flensburg , Schleswig-Holstein , † June 8, 2001 in Hove , southern England ) was a Danish social worker and author .

Life

Herdis Poulsen trained as a social worker and married the writer Johannes Møllehave on June 21, 1958 . In the following twenty years she raised three of her own and two foster children . From 1976 she published various non-fiction books on social issues, which was followed by four novels dealing with topics from her experiences in social work and translated into several languages.

Herdis Møllehave was buried in the Old Churchyard in the Copenhagen suburb of Frederiksberg .
