Here We Go is the debut album of pop - group US5 , which was published on 18 November 2005 worldwide. It is their most successful long player and has sold more than 320,000 times. In Austria and in Poland it was with gold and Germany with three gold records awarded. All of the songs on the album were produced by Mike Michaels, Sammy Naja and Mark Dollar. The exception is the song One of Us , for which the ABBA band members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus were responsible.

Standard version

There are three different versions of the album in total. The standard CD contains 13 tracks. On the same day, a Here We Go (New Edition) was released , which contains five bonus tracks, including a live version and the single version of the song Come Back to Me Baby . A re-release of Here We Go was released on March 17, 2006. This is the "Limited-Deluxe-Edition", which contains two music videos ( Mama and Just Because of You ) as well as two backstage videos.

New edition

The New Edition has the same title list as the standard version. There is also the song Come Back to Me Baby , which was also released as a single; the newly produced song Best Friends and a remix of the song Mama . There is also the bonus track The Day You Cried and a live version of the title Come Back to Me Baby .

Single releases

Maria

The first single of the band the title appeared Maria on June 26, 2005. The song reached in Germany ranked one of the charts and a total of 22 weeks stayed there. In Austria , the song took fourth place and got out of the charts here after 28 weeks. In Switzerland , the debut single was eighth. There the piece was also in the chart for 22 weeks. In the United Kingdom , too , the title ranked 38th for two weeks. Maria is also the only US5 single that reached number one. The director on the set of the music video led Oliver Sommer ; his assistant was Nora Naatz. The executive production company was AVA Studios GmbH . The clip was shot in May and June 2005 at Universal Studios in Florida .

Just Because of You

The second and final single on the album was Just Because of You , which was released on October 14, 2005. The song took third place in Germany and was represented in the official chart for 17 weeks. She also came third in Austria, here for 18 weeks. In Switzerland the song was able to assert itself in eighth position and was in the single charts for 17 weeks. In the UK, the second single, unlike the debut single, did not make it into the charts. The video for the song was shot in Romania and Bucharest in September 2005 . Here too, Oliver Sommer was the director.

Come back to me baby

Come Back to Me Baby was the first single from the "New Edition" of Here We Go . It was published on February 10, 2006 in German-speaking countries and was ranked third in Germany for a total of three months. In Austria and Switzerland, the piece came in fourth for 13 weeks each. The video for the song was the first to be shot in Germany. US5 stood in front of the camera in December 2005 in Potsdam . As with Maria and Just Because of You , Oliver Sommer was the director. With a length of four minutes and 43 seconds, this video is the longest of the band that has ever been produced.

mummy

The last single from the "New Edition" was Mama on May 5, 2006. The song reached number four in Germany and stayed there for nine weeks. In Austria, the single entered the charts at position six and was represented here for eight weeks. In Switzerland the piece reached number 18 and stayed there, just as in Germany, for nine weeks. The clip about Mama was shot on April 8, 2006 in Berlin, making it the second that was shot in Germany. Oliver Sommer was the director here too.
