Heribert Just

Heribert Just was an Austrian table tennis player . He was one of the best players in Austria in the 1940s and 1950s.

Career

Heribert Just was Austrian individual champion in 1951 and 1956 . There are also several front placements:

  • 1946: 2nd place in doubles with Heinrich Bednar
  • 1949: 2nd place in singles, victory in doubles with Heinrich Bednar
  • 1950: Victory in doubles with Otto Eckl
  • 1951: Victory in doubles with Otto Eckl
  • 1952: 2nd place in singles, victory in doubles with Otto Eckl
  • 1953: 2nd place in the individual
  • 1954: 2nd place in the individual
  • 1955: 2nd place in doubles with Otto Eckl
  • 1956: Victory in doubles with Otto Eckl, victory in mixed with Linde Wertl

Between 1947 and 1955 he took part in eight world championships . He won bronze with the Austrian team in 1947 and 1948 .
