Zheng Guixia
Zheng Guixia ( Chinese 郑 桂霞 , Pinyin Zhèng Guìxiá ; born June 24, 1973 ) is a former Chinese long-distance runner .
In 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2001 she became the national champion in the marathon , and in 1999 in the 10,000 meter run .
In 1992 she became the Chinese runner-up in the marathon and third in the Beijing marathon . In 1995 and 1996 she was second in Beijing. In 1997 she won the forerunner event of the Hong Kong Marathon and the Half Marathon of the East Asian Games . The following year she won silver over 10,000 m at the Asian Games in Bangkok .
In 1999 she won the Hong Kong Marathon and finished 17th at the World Athletics Championships in Seville . The following season she was second in the Yamaguchi Half Marathon and fourth in the Sapporo Half Marathon . In 2001 she was again second in Yamaguchi and seventh in the Beijing Marathon, and in 2003 fourth in Yamaguchi.
