Heribert Wenzel

Heribert Wenzel (born June 22, 1929 in Böhmisch-Kamnitz ; †  March 26, 2017 ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Heribert Wenzel did an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk after elementary school and secondary school and worked in industry until 1961. He then worked for the State Welfare Association of Hesse .

Heribert Wenzel was married and had two children.

politics

Heribert Wenzel was a member of the SPD. For his party he worked in Darmstadt from 1960 to 1973 as a city councilor (including parliamentary group chairman from 1964 to 1973), from 1973 to 1980 as a full-time city councilor and from 1981 as an honorary city councilor.

Until 1973 he was a member and deputy chairman of the association assembly of the regional planning community Starkenburg . On December 1, 1970 he was elected directly to the Hessian state parliament for the constituency of Darmstadt-Stadt I. When he was elected city councilor on December 18, 1973, he left the state parliament.
