Herkenrathermühle was a district of the community Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

The Herkenrathermühle was located on the Wahnbach directly above today's Wahnbach dam . Neighboring towns were Herkenrath in the west and Neunkirchen in the east. The Lüttersmühle in the south went under in the dam.

The watermill belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .
In 1830 the Herkenrothermühle had six residents, in 1845 the mill had two Catholic residents. In 1888 there were six residents.
In 1901 the mill had seven residents. The miller at the time was Franz Tielenbach.
