Herman José Von Krippahl (born March 19, 1954 in Lisbon ) is a German- Portuguese show star and comedian .
biography
The son of a German father and a Portuguese mother attended the German School in Lisbon. In the 1970s he tried his hand at singing, his first great success as an actor was in 1983 in the television series O Tal Canal . Hermanias production followed a year later , which was also very successful in Portugal . Due to some critical contributions and a change in his style with sexual innuendos and coarse humor, there were problems with the government and the Church of Portugal.
Other TV programs followed, including Roda da Sorte , the Portuguese version of the wheel of fortune , Com a Verdade m'Enganas and Parabéns for the public broadcaster RTP . In the 1990s, Herman Enciclopédia and Herman 98 were produced for RTP. In 2000 he switched to the private broadcaster SIC . Here he led, among other things, the program HermanSic to success.
In addition to his TV career, Hermann Jose runs the “Café Café” in Lisbon, a popular restaurant.
In 2012, Herman Jose drew attention to himself in his "Show Herman 2012, RTP" with Angela Merkel parodies.
