Hermann-Josef Dusend

Hermann-Josef Dusend (born December 21, 1926 in Kleinenbroich ; † January 19, 2009 ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school and completing commercial training, Dusend worked as a commercial clerk in mechanical engineering from 1948 to 1970 . He then worked for the Association of Catholic Churches in Neuss and the Caritas Association as director. He was married and had three children.

After the regional reform , he was a member of the district council of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss from May 4, 1975 to 2004. From October 18, 1989 to 1999, he was District Administrator of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. He was a member of the city council of Neuss from 1969 to 1989.

Dusend was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

On December 21, 1983 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. Dusend received the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on March 16, 2006.
