Hermann Brodbeck (wrestler)

Hermann Brodbeck (* 1889 ; † April 17, 1973 in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim ) was a German wrestler and third in the European championship in wrestling .

In the featherweight class he was German runner -up in 1919, third in 1920 and 1921 and finally German champion in the Greco-Roman style of wrestling in 1923. At the European Championships in Offenbach in 1921 he was third in the featherweight division, ahead of Georg Gerstacker and behind Andersson.

He died on April 17, 1973 at the age of 84 as a result of a second stroke in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim .
