Hermann Creutzenberg (born September 14, 1923 in Hartsgast , † December 22, 1998 in Wittmund ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Creutzenberg attended elementary school, attended a further education school and graduated from technical school. During the Second World War he did three years of military service and became a member of the NSDAP on September 1, 1942 ( membership number 9.129.630). Since 1950 Creutzenberg worked as an independent farmer. In 1968 he became chairman of the CDU district association in Wittmund. He was a member and board member of several associations and clubs. In Hartsgast he was councilor from 1952 and between 1958 and 1972 mayor and honorary community director.

Since 1960 he was a member of the district council. Between 1964 and 1977 and from 1980 he was district administrator of the Wittmund district . Creutzenberg was in the 7th to 10th electoral term from 1970 to 1986 member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . From 1978 to 1982 he was Chairman of the Committee on Ports and Shipping in the State Parliament.

Honors

Creutzenberg was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon , 1st Class and the Lower Saxony Order of Merit, First Class .
