Hermann Diehl (director)
Hermann Diehl (born October 5, 1906 , † December 20, 1983 ) was a German doll maker, film producer, painter and sculptor.
Life
Together with his brothers Ferdinand and Paul Diehl , he made over 30 puppet films between 1929 and 1970, which were made with well over 1,000 puppets. The best-known of her figures is the hedgehog from 1938, which became known under the name of Mecki after the Second World War . The adaptation of Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten was also known .
