Hermann Dischinger
Hermann Dischinger (born September 22, 1944 in Östringen ) is a German teacher and dialect author and poet from Östringen.
Live and act
Hermann Dischinger first wanted to be a pastor, but then decided to become a teacher. He studied English and Catholic theology in Munich and Freiburg and has been teaching Catholic religion and English at the Leibniz-Gymnasium in Östringen since 1972 . For health reasons, he gave up this job a few years before he reached the official retirement age.
He took part in a dialect competition in 1989 and took second place in the poetry category. Since then he has written poems and texts, already over 1,000.
He no longer wants to write another book, but continues to hold readings , the proceeds of which will be donated to a good cause.
