Hermann Hansen (politician)

Hermann Hansen (born July 21, 1898 in Viöl , † October 12, 1973 in Kiel ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After elementary school , Hansen attended a preparatory institute from 1913 to become a teacher. In 1915 he joined the imperial army, with which he took part in the First World War . In 1917 he became a British prisoner of war, from which he was released in 1919. He broke off his further training at the teachers' college in Bad Segeberg in 1920. From 1921 to 1927 he managed his parents' estate. He then became cantor of the Viöl savings and loan fund.

Hansen was a member of the DNVP from 1921 to 1924 . On July 1, 1929, he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 137.625). From 1931 to 1944 he was district leader of the Husum district .

After the transfer of power to the National Socialists, Hansen was Mayor of Husum from November 1933 to December 1937 . According to the information in the Reichstag Handbuch, he is said to have taken over the office of Deputy District Administrator of Husum in June 1933. In June 1934, Hansen joined the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 23 (Düsseldorf West) until March 1936, as a replacement for the resigned MP Gottfried Krummacher . In March 1936 and April 1938 he ran again, but unsuccessfully. After 1941 Hansen was a member of the administrative staff of the Reich Commissioner for the East in Riga .

After 1945 Hansen was sentenced to imprisonment. Later he was a cattle dealer in Husum.
