Hermann IV. (Weimar-Orlamünde)
Hermann IV. Count of Weimar-Orlamünde , according to a different way of counting Hermann V († 1319 ), was a count from the Weimar-Orlamünde family .
Hermann IV was a son of Count Otto III. After the death of his father, he and his brother Otto IV took over the county. He appears as Herr von Weimar and von Schönwerde . He married in 1290 Mechthild († after 1339), daughter of Count Friedrich von Rabenswalde († 1315) and Elisabeth, Countess of Mansfeld and Osterfeld († 1320). Among his nine children are Friedrich, a subsequent count, and Johann, a commander of the Coming Weimar . Hermann's epitaph is located in the Elisabeth Chapel in Naumburg .
