Hermann Ignatius Flender (born October 31, 1681 in Siegen , † 1747 in Heidelberg ) was a German theologian and dean .

Life

He entered the Jesuit order on July 11, 1701 and was enrolled in the register of the University of Würzburg on September 27, 1703 under No. 10774. According to the university register of Heidelberg he was there in 1714 master, professor, dean, taught philosophy. In Würzburg he read scholastic theology. In 1729 he received the theological doctorate under the promoter Henricus Menshagen . From 1734 to 1736 he was professor of apologetics in Bamberg . In February 1736 he became rector of the Jesuit college in Aschaffenburg .
