Hermann Keimel

Hermann Keimel (born February 24, 1899 in Munich ; † October 15, 1948 there ) was a German painter, graphic artist and commercial artist.

Life

He completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Julius Diez and Angelo Jank, among others . Keimel was then a teacher at the master school for German painting in Munich. He was a member of the Munich painter community " The Twelve " and the " New Association of Munich Poster Artists ". As such, he was also represented at the 1931 Munich Poster Art Exhibition . He designed and designed numerous posters for events and political parties. In 1932 he took part in the art competitions of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
