Hermann Krieg
Hermann Krieg (mentioned around 1448–1470) was a Basel sculptor from the Netherlands .
Live and act
Hermann Krieg came from Utrecht and traveled around 1448 with a cousin, a canon and later cathedral dean of Utrecht, through France ( Avignon , Paris , Orléans ). In 1452 he was accepted into the spinning weather guild in Basel, where building craftsmen and woodworking professions were united. A year later he was accepted into the local heaven guild , to which the painters belonged. In 1455 he lived in Binningen , the following year he bought a house on Freie Strasse. It can be found in Basel until 1470 and was involved in various right-hand trades there.
