Hermann Meyer-Nieberg

Hermann Meyer-Nieberg (born October 20, 1902 in Wallenbrück , † September 6, 1982 in Osnabrück ) was a German politician , member of the NSDAP and district administrator in the Tecklenburg district , in the Minden district and in the Mansfeld district.

Live and act

After studying law at the Universities of Bonn , Göttingen and Hamburg , Hermann Meyer-Nieberg first worked at the Higher Regional Court in Kiel . In 1931 he opened a law firm in Bielefeld and became a member of the NSDAP and the SA . After he was appointed from 1933 to the Oberpräsidium in Münster, he received the post of district administrator in the Tecklenburg district in 1935 . Two years later, on April 22, 1937, he became district administrator for the Minden district . Here he was the first district administrator with a membership in the NSDAP. Because of irreconcilable contradictions with the District President Adolf von Oeynhausen , he was recalled from his office on March 4, 1940 and entrusted with the provisional administration of the Mansfeld District Office . After various administrative assignments, he was called to the front in 1941 . After the war he worked as a lawyer in Dissen .
