Hermann Konrad Petri (born September 29, 1885 in Detmold ; † January 26, 1963 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer , senior government councilor and regional councilor in the Lippe state government .

Career

His father Theodor Petri (1848–1903) was mayor of Detmold.

Konrad Petri took part in the First World War and achieved the rank of lieutenant in the 3rd Westphalian Infantry Regiment . He passed his state examination on May 23, 1917. He received his doctorate and was on October 1, 1928 senior government councilor in Detmold . He later became head of the economic department at the state government.

From 1930 to February 1933 he was a non-party member of the Lippe State Presidium under Heinrich Drake . Released from his official business in the government, he was then in April 1933 as the successor to the government councilor August Böhmer his deputy. Petri was appointed chairman of the Detmold Higher Administrative Court. Because he was deployed in " less relevant " institutions, Petri was able to remain independent and did not have to join the NSDAP . A short time later he also took over the position of director of the Detmold Upper Insurance Office.

Presumably in autumn 1941 Petri was seconded to the Detmold district office as deputy district administrator. In May 1945 he resigned in Detmold and then became the competent state councilor for finances in the Lippe state government in the Drake VIII cabinet . He remained in this position until it was dissolved in late January 1947.

In 1919 he married Klara Windgasse (* 1891).
