Hermann Redlin

Hermann Redlin (born March 1, 1931 ) is a former German SED functionary.

Life

Redlin joined the SED in 1950 and was a full-time FDJ functionary. From 1954 he was the second secretary of the FDJ district leadership in Schwerin . He studied at the party college "Karl Marx" and graduated with a degree in social science. From 1958 to 1963 he worked as secretary for agitation and propaganda of the SED district leadership Schwerin-Stadt, from 1970 to 1972 as first secretary of the SED district leadership Ludwigslust and from 1972 to 1974 as department head of the SED district leadership Schwerin. From February 1974 to 1989 he was chairman of the district party control commission (BPKK) and member of the secretariat of the SED district leadership in Schwerin.
