Hermann Roth (born March 29, 1925 ) is a former soccer goalkeeper from the GDR .
Roth played for Empor Lauter until 1954 . With them he rose to the GDR league in 1952 and completed 32 games in the top division of the GDR. When the Empor Lauter players were delegated to the newly founded SC Empor Rostock in November 1954 , he went to the Baltic coast as one of twelve Empor players from the Ore Mountains. As a substitute goalkeeper behind Rudi Leber , he only played one role in the FDGB Cup for the rest of the season . In the transition season of 1955 , Roth played four times.
