Hermann Schätz
Hermann Schätz (born December 10, 1934 in Traunstein ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
From 1972 on, Schätz was a member of the Traunstein District Assembly , in which he was also parliamentary group chairman. He ran for the Bundestag in 1976 and 1980 and in 1979 for the European Parliament. From 1980 to 1983 he was a member of the Bundestag . In 2005 he was awarded the Georg von Vollmar Medal, the highest award of the Bavarian SPD .
