Kurt Hermann Wilhelm Ueberschär (born October 31, 1939 in Brieg / Silesia ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD , CSU , CDU , FDP ).

Life

After graduating from high school in Wolfenbüttel in 1959 , Ueberschär studied political science and law as well as philosophy and economics at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Würzburg . In 1963 he passed the first state examination and in 1968 the second state examination. In 1970 he was in Würzburg with the dissertation topic The state and professional associations operating protection taking into account the iron and steel industry to Dr. jur. utr. PhD . In addition to German and English, he also speaks French.

Ueberschär worked from 1969 to 1970 in the legal department of Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall . Since November 1970 he has been working as an independent lawyer and business lawyer in Weißenburg , Bavaria . Until 1990 he was managing director of IBS-International Business Service-Dr. Ueberschär GmbH, a law firm in Nuremberg and Weißenburg.

Ueberschär joined the SPD in 1968 and from 1978 was a board member of the SPD sub-district Roth . In 1988 he moved to the CSU. From 1997 to 2015 he was a member of the CDU. Since 2016 he has been a member of the FDP where he lives in Berlin.

Ueberschär stood on the state list of the SPD in Bavaria in the federal election in 1980 , but initially failed. On February 2, 1981, he then moved to the German Bundestag for the resigned MP Konrad Porzner and was a member of this until the end of the 1983 legislative period. He was a member of the legal committee of the German Bundestag . From 1984 to 1990 he was a member of the district council in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district .

Kurt Ueberschär is married to Dr. Elena Ueberschär, who is also a member of the FDP.
