Hermann Schmidt-Schmied
Hermann Schmidt-Schmied (born February 6, 1924 - March 31, 2010 ) was a German painter.
Career
Schmidt-Schmied studied painting at the Mainz Art School. Scholarships enabled him to study at the University of Nice and the École Antique in Nîmes between 1948 and 1955 . In 1958 he founded the Atelier du Midi painting school in Arles .
